Thuja occidentalis 'Jantar' forms a cheerful, slender, yellow-leaved conifer. Elegant upright growth combined with aromatic, vibrant, dense golden foliage make Jantar an outstanding strain - possibly the best in its class.

The yellow-green foliage changes to a warm amber shade in late autumn and throughout the winter. This hardy evergreen conifer would make the perfect focal point for a rock garden, large container, border or as a single specimen.

Plant Thuja in any well-drained soil in full sun. The soil can be acidic, alkaline or neutral. Protects plants from cold, drying winds, especially when younger.

Conifers can be planted year-round, but are best planted in late fall or winter, as long as the ground is not frozen or wet. Most conifers are somewhat frost hardy and hardy, so they can establish well in cooler weather.
