Terms of delivery

Online store

Erikoistaimet.fi (business ID 3020235-9) sells tree and shrub seedlings to individuals, the public sector and companies. Product prices include VAT. We reserve the right to change prices and delivery costs. If a product is out of stock, we can offer a different size product at a different price. When the product runs out, we are not obliged to sell the more expensive product at a cheaper price.

Ordering

The products are ordered on the website of the online store by moving them to the shopping cart and paying for the contents of the shopping cart with the payment method of your choice. All customer information is treated confidentially. The contact information requested in connection with the order will not be used for anything other than the delivery of the order or for clarifying any ambiguities that arise in it. When ordering from the online store, you are required to have familiarized yourself with and agreed to the delivery conditions valid at any given time.

Payment

Payment for the online store is made with the payment method you choose. All the most common payment methods are available.

Order and payment confirmation

After a successful order, an order confirmation and a message about sending the order will be sent to your email.

Delivery method and costs

The delivery costs of your order are added to the price of the products. Delivery costs are determined by the size, weight and quantity of the plants in your order. You can also choose home delivery or we also deliver to nearby areas ourselves. We reserve the right to price changes.
You can also choose to pick up from our garden. Pick-up is free, but the pick-up time must be arranged in advance.

Delivery time

Our most common delivery times to Finland are 2-7 days, depending on the order and delivery method. We are not responsible for delays caused by Matkahuolto's schedules or other reasons, or for possible harm caused by delays.

Exchange and return conditions

According to the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, the consumer buyer has the right to exchange or return all or part of your order within 14 days of receiving the order. The right of return only applies to salable products. If the returned product is damaged during the trip and it is clearly not packaged in the right way, the customer is responsible for the damage. The seedling can be packed in a cardboard box of the right size so that the branches do not get damaged or broken. Bubble wrap or newspapers can be used as padding around the seedling so that the seedling cannot move. Alternatively, packing plastic can be used to pack the seedling, in which case the packing plastic is rolled tightly around the seedling so that the branches are not damaged or broken. Packaging plastic is used to the extent that the seedling does not get damaged during transport.

If you want to return or exchange products after the inspection period, contact the merchant directly.
When returning the delivered order, include your customer number/name and contact information and your account number for the refund. The customer is responsible for the return costs. Note! Failure to pick up the package is not a return. We charge the return costs for unclaimed packages in accordance with Matkahuolto's price list. Seedling guarantee

The buyer of the seedlings must notify within eight days of sending the seedlings any defects regarding delivery, sorting and packaging. Damages caused by transport must be reported to the driver in writing in the consignment note when taking over the seedlings.

Seedlings are guaranteed to start growing .

  • Growth start guarantee for seedlings bought in spring until June 30. Seedlings purchased after 1.7 have a 14-day warranty from the date of purchase. Seedlings purchased after 1.10 are not guaranteed. The warranty does not apply to damage caused to the seedlings by winter, pests, an unfavorable growing place or other external factors.
  • The seedling guarantee does not apply to careless and unprofessional handling of seedlings.
  • No warranty is given over the winter.
  • Ownership of the product is with the seller until the purchase price is paid in full.
  • Missing seedling types can be replaced with another seedling type of the same species and variety.
  • The seller has the right to terminate the transaction if the buyer does not receive the seedlings at the agreed time.
  • Refunds due to faulty product are limited to the price charged.
  • The prices of the products are freely available at our nursery without commitment.
  • The products are booked in order of order.
  • The nursery has the right to cancel the order or part of it if the seedlings included in it have been destroyed due to natural conditions or the delivery of the order is prevented due to force majeure.
  • Plants or plant parts can be poisonous or harmful.

Problem situations

If the product is lost or damaged during transport or otherwise does not correspond to your order, you must report the error within two days of the order's arrival at the latest. If the package is damaged in transit, the product must be immediately complained to the shipping company used.
