Pinus Sylvestris "Watereri" - Dwarf pine
Pinus Sylvestris "Watereri" - Dwarf pine
Reminiscent of sembra pine. Pine (Pinus sylvestris) is the most widespread tree genus. In forestry, pine is grown densely, so that no branches can develop under the canopy. In the yards and in the park, pines form broad-topped and strong-branched ones. The pine thrives in a bright place of growth, in dry and fresh peat soils. Pine should not be planted in clayey places.
The slow-growing dwarf pine 'Watereri' is suitable even for a smaller yard. It grows only about 5-10 cm per year and remains less than 2 m high. The needles are blue-green. You can make the bush even bushier by cutting off half of the new annual growth about a week before Midsummer.
