A cone-shaped variety that grows 3-4 m tall. It has long, thin, bluish-silver needles. It prefers a sunny or semi-shaded location. It likes moderately fertile, permeable, moderately moist soil. A frost-resistant variety.

Pinus strobus 'Himmelblau' (syn. 'White Mountain') – distinctively colored eastern white pine variant;

  • A loose, wide conical habit,
  • fast growth - reaches 4 meters after 10 years,
  • blue needles, silver base,
  • grows in well-permeable and slightly acidic soil,
  • in sunlight, semi-shaded places,
  • suitable for colorful settings, home gardens or group plantings,
  • 'Himmelblau' can be pruned to achieve greater density.

The needle color creates a shiny effect on sunny days.
