The cultivation form of this Serbian oak is very slow-growing and densely branched. Annual growth is only 2–4 cm, and 'Nana' becomes almost as wide as it is tall. Like the Serbian fir, 'Nana' is relatively undemanding in terms of growing place and the seedling does not need to be shaded in spring and winter. 'Nana' is a more durable counterpart to the 'Conica' white spruce.

The sturdy dwarf Serbian alder is a beautiful small coniferous tree, which is well suited as a single plant in a smaller yard or in groups of conifers as an eye-catcher. The short trunk does not grow much, but the beautiful crown slowly grows into a wide cone. Naturally very healthy and very winter hardy. Thrives in a wide variety of habitats.

Dense and conical growth habit. The needles are short and silvery underneath. A fresh and medium nutrient growing place. A dwarf variety of Serbian spruce. Zone 1-4

Serbian spruce (Picea omorika) grows naturally on the borderlands of Bosnia, Serbia and Montenegro. Even before the ice age, it was widely grown all over Europe. It is best recognized by its narrow growth habit and the silver underside of the needles. It is advantageous in groups of a few trees or, for example, as a small "grove" to provide visibility and wind protection. Serbian spruce is more sensitive to humidity than domestic spruce. Otherwise, it thrives in a wide variety of growing places.
