Juniperus chinensis 'Stricta'

A very popular and decorative variety of Chinese juniper. It creates dense, compact and upright bushes that are fully conical. The needles of young growths are blue-green, the upward shoots have short, straight, regularly arranged branches. It grows relatively slowly, reaching up to 3 meters in height and 1 meter in diameter. Useful in every garden, in farm green buildings and urban compositions, often used for interesting, loose-growing rows, although not completely frost-hardy.
