It stands out for its well-branched pyramidal shape, beautiful purple leaves and decorative, immaculate white bark accented with shades of brown.

Betula pendula Royal Frost turns orange-yellow to red in autumn. Its initially smooth bark peels off over time.

A robust and easy-care plant, the Royal Frost purple birch reaches a height of 5–10 meters and a width of 3–4 meters in adulthood and is perfectly suited as an eye-catcher in the yard. It is a very durable wood that can withstand temperatures of -30 °C. It thrives in sun or partial shade, in any cool, humus-rich soil.
